At Grace United Methodist Church we share a love for Jesus and each other.
Grace is a place where you belong! Our family of faith ranges in age from 3 to 83. The Apostles’ Creed is recited each Sunday morning and Christ’s atoning sacrifice is remembered in the sharing Holy Communion. You will experience a sense of belonging through hospitality, prayer, and congregational love. God’s presence is experienced by singing traditional hymns, as well as contemporary Christian music. The Ultimate Cell Call – New Series
Our next sermon series, titled The Ultimate Cell Call, begins Sunday, May 5! This group of sermons will provide an in-depth look at the letters Paul wrote from prison.
When we look at the sacrifices we make in the name of Jesus, most of us endure little compared to his early disciples. Paul was chosen by Jesus to preach the gospel to the gentiles. Paul didn’t lie, steal, or cheat yet he was beaten, stoned, and imprisoned. Still he never lost faith.
Acts 28:28-31 tells us that even while under house arrest in Rome, Paul was”proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.” We live without restriction to say what we want about our Lord and Savior. Can we be as bold as Paul to share the good news of Christ’s love with those around us?
